Somehow I never seem to have enough things on my plate. But, the more projects I work on the more I learn ... and life is about learning. This portfolio includes links to a bunch of different projects that I have going on. Some of them are serious businesses, some are hobbies, and some are just cool.

Although I'm not a graphic artist, the great thing about working on the web these days is that you don't have to be. This personal website is pretty decent (I dare say better than many corporate sites I've seen), but I didn't create very many of the graphics. I use Freelancer.com for most of the off-shore work that I have done, including some graphic design work.

I've done the majority of layout and "design" on all the sites in this portfolio myself, which means there is no excuse these days for a "crappy" website. I'm just an accountant :-)

www.WhitsittWines.com

Yes, no website there ... yet. I'm still formulating a business plan to leverage my interest in winemaking. The concept is based on locally made wine that uses 100% recycled bottles. More than 50% of the cost of a bottle of wine that I make is the bottle itself. This presents an interesting business opportunity that can be very good for the environment.

www.ITComplianceExperts.com

This is a professional services business I founded that operates as a division of One-to-One Service.com. We provide a variety of services related to IT compliance including SOX 404, HIPAA, Service Organization Control reports, etc. I built this site 3-4 years ago and it's about time for an update. But for a site this old it's still not bad. Clients include McKesson, Addus Healthcare, Honeywell, and others.

www.DarinaSilk.com

This is a new business venture my wife recently started, which is selling hand painted silk garments and scarves. They are absolutely beautiful items and deserve a nice website. I'm supporting her with marketing and business advice and this snappy little website. It's also using DotNetNuke and has lots of photos of their work. I made the logo using an online logo generation tool.

www.GypsyHips.com

I did this site for my wife's belly dance troupe, the Gypsy Hips. She's quite a talented dancer and deserves a good website. The site incorporates iService forms to capture requests, manage their mailing list, and publish a set of FAQs in a custom format.
